New Superhero on the Block

Marvel adds a new addition to their comics, introducing the Nigerian Superheroine Ngozi, starring in the first comic to take place in Nigeria. The award-winning writer, Nnedi Okorafor, created the female character, who is based on one of the Chibok girls. Nnedi says she hopes this character will “create diversity in the world of superheroes which will inspire the creation of more African comic book characters.”
