Father in India Carves Safer Road for Kids Walking to School

Indian father Jalandhar Nayak has spent the past two years carving out a five-mile road with a chisel, a pick-axe, and a garden hoe through the hilly terrain of Odisha just so his children would have an easier time getting to school. The government was surprised and inspired by this man’s efforts, and they offered to finish the last four miles of the road. Watch the video of his loving project here.

Female Mechanic in Middle East Fixes Cars and Stereotypes

Balqees Bani Hani, a 34-year-old Jordanian woman, had always dreamed of opening a female-run car repair shop, and now she has. With the support of many people in her community, she is challenging societal norms in the Middle East, even though that was not her intention. Over 1 Million Meals Were Donated to Food Bank

During the annual Spirit of Giving Food Drive this year, more than 1 million meals were donated to the New Hampshire Food Bank. They received 127,000 more meals than the previous year. The food will be distributed to thousands of different agencies throughout the state.

High School Student Giving Refurbished Laptops to Students in Africa

A high school junior has started a laptop donation program for a good cause. Instead of people recycling or selling old laptops, they can donate them to female students in Africa. So far he has collected over 21 donated laptops, proving you are never too young to make an impact.
