Cristi Smith-Jones and her daughter Lola are sharing one photo every day during Black History Month. The photos are “highlighting not only iconic women, but paying tribute to various artists and their songs, poems, sculptures, books, films, plays, and more.” See all the pictures and posts this mom and daughter duo put together to educate and empower others.
These grandchildren called their grandma “Oma”, and she instilled in them the love of books. After she passed away, they decided to honor her by putting money and notes of kindness into random books at bookstores with the hashtag #omaluv. Read the whole story here.
Volunteers are giving back to their community by washing loads of laundry for people with financial hardships. Laundry Love Program volunteers wash, dry, and fold the clothes free of charge. Watch the inspiring video here.
The Koolulam organization is bringing Israelis together of all ages, races, religions, and demographics for mass singing events. In their most recent orchestration, 3,000 Muslims and Jews came together to learn and sing the song “One Day” in three different languages! Watch the video here.
