There is a great need for mentorship for those being released from the juvenile system. The Pittsburgh Youth Study found that 52 to 57 percent of juvenile delinquents continue to offend up to age 25.
Erinne Seay and her group at the Dreamchasers program volunteer their time to mentor and aide individuals released from the Contra Costa Juvenile Hall. Over 12 weeks they strive to guide those on probation to gain life skills and building healthy relationships that will set them on the right path.
